PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank for an ink-jet recording device compatible with a safe ink supply needle as well as certainly supplying an ink to a recording head. SOLUTION: This ink tank comprises a container for storing an ink, an ink taking out opening 3 allowing insertion of an ink supply needle, formed cylindrically on the bottom surface of the container for allowing inflow of an ink, a packing 6 provided on the ink taking out opening 3 so as to be elastically contacted with the outer circumference of the ink supply needle for preventing leakage of the ink, and a film 4 bonded on the ink taking out opening 3 for sealing the ink supply needle insertion side of the packing 6. |
