<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card unit capable of wireless data communication and to provide a unit connected to the card unit and capable of wireless data communication and voice data communication. SOLUTION: The card unit is connected to a data communication equipment main body provided with a CPU 100 that conducts entire system control, converts data received wirelessly into data in compliance with the PCMCIA bus standards, and converts transmitted data into data in compliance with the wireless transmission standards, with a power supply section 70 that supplies power, with a bus connected to the CPU 100 to provide a signal path, and with a PCMCIA slot 80 and the card unit comprises a frequency conversion section 20 that converts a received RF signal into an IF signal and converts the IF signal into the RF signal under the control of the CPU 100, and a transmission reception data processing section 30 that converts the IF signal converted from the RF signal by the frequency conversion section 20 and an internal data signal to be sent into a base band signal under the control of the CPU 100.</p> |
