PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head adaptable for an internal combustion engine, different in a suction pipe injection type or a direct injection type, by considering a given property in terms of structure. SOLUTION: A cylinder head system 4 having a suction valve 7 and an exhaust valve 8 has features that it is suitable for a first form cylinder head 5 for injection of a suction pipe and a second form cylinder head 6 for direct injection. Namely, valve anglesαandα' being the features in terms of the structures of the first and second form cylinder heads 5 and 6 coincide with each other. The second form cylinder head 6 is provided with a single or a plurality of injection nozzles 32 inserted through the longitudinal side 34 of the second form cylinder head 6. The injection nozzle 32 is extended at an acute angleβwith a plane A-A extending between the second form cylinder head 6 and a cylinder casing 2.
