<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust radiation monitor reducing the consumed power and exchange frequency of a dust collecting member and reducing the waste by spent dust collecting member by effectively using the dust collecting member relative to a detector of the same detection efficiency. SOLUTION: This dust radiation monitor is constituted of a dust collecting part 3A provided in a midway of a sampling pipe 9 and collecting dust in air, the dust collecting member 4 collecting the dust in the air by the dust collecting part 3A so as to stick the dust thereto, a dust radiation detector measuring the radiation of radioactivity contained in the dust stuck to the dust collecting member 4, a dust collecting member transfer mechanism measuring the radiation of the dust collecting member 4 for a prescribed time, then transferring the dust collecting member, and exchanging it for a new dust collecting member, a flow regulating part 1 connected to a sampling pipe 9 and setting the suction air flow, and a suction pump 2 connected to the flow regulating part 1 and sucking the air. This monitor is characterized that the shape of the dust collecting part 3A is rectangular.</p> |
