METHOD OF FABRICATING SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE ROD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating a superconducting wire rod for preventing a blistering of a multicore supercondcting wire rod caused by a remaining gas component. SOLUTION: A powder 1 at least containing a superconducting phase is degassed (step S1). After the powder is charged into a silver pipe 2 (step S2), the silver pipe 2 is subjected to a degassing treatment at a high temperature (step S3). A plurality of simple-core strands 3 are inserted into another silver pipe 4, and become a multicore structure. Then, the silver pipe 4 is subjected to a degassing treatment at a high temperature (step S5). The silver pipe 4 is sealed under reduced pressure (step S6).
