PURPOSE: An aroma generating apparatus for motor vehicle is provided to achieve an improved user convenience by allowing aroma cartridges to be easily replaced and arranging aroma to be emitted only when the user desires. CONSTITUTION: An aroma generating apparatus comprises a support(2) attached to the surface of a crush pad(51) above an air outlet port(50); a guide box(3) coupled, through an attachment/detachment unit, to the support to be attachable/detachable to/from the guide, and which has a hollow interior to accommodate articles; and a cartridge(6) inserted into the guide box and which accommodates an aromatic liquid storage member. The cartridge has an aroma emitting opening which is closed when the cartridge is lifted and open when the cartridge is lowered. The attachment/detachment unit includes a clip part extended from the support, and a stopper member arranged between the clip part and the guide box so as to restrict the guide box inserted to the clip part.
