DEVICE AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SUPPLYING LUBRICANT

PURPOSE: Automatically supplying device and method for a lubricant are provided to re-supply the lubricant at a specific level for remaining a specific amount of the lubricant in a lubricant tank. CONSTITUTION: A lubricant tank(12) supplies a lubricant to a machine tool. A lubricant main tank(10) supplies the lubricant to the lubricant tank for maintaining a specific amount of lubricant. A lubricant control valve(20) is installed between the lubricant tank and the lubricant main tank for controlling supply of the lubricant to the lubricant tank. A high level check switch(22) is installed at an upper end of the lubricant tank for being turned on at a specific level of the lubricant in the lubricant tank. A low level check switch(24) is installed at a lower end of the lubricant tank for being turned on a specific level of the lubricant in the lubricant tank. In case of on state of the low level check switch, the lubricant is supplied from the lubricant main tank to the lubricant tank by a PLC control unit(26) controlling the control valve. In case of on state of the high level check switch, a line from the main tank to the lubricant tank is blocked.
