<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a hand-writing input device using the magneto resistance element, that a change of a magneto resistance value due to a magnetic member of a magneto resistance element is very minute, its precise recognition is difficult, the change of the magneto resistance value becomes a cause of a malfunction since the large change of the magneto resistance value is caused due to external factors such as the change of temperature by a magneto resistance element itself and stable operation is difficult to be secured. SOLUTION: This coordinate detector is characterized by providing a coordinate instructing means 23 to generate a magnetic field, plural magneto resistance elements 8 to be arranged to be apart from one another corresponding to plural points and the resistance value of which is changed according to the intensity of the magnetic field to be generated from the coordinate instructing means and a detecting means 24 to detect coordinates of a position to be pointed from an outputted voltage value to be outputted from a specific magneto resistance element among the plural magneto resistance elements.</p> |
