The invention relates to a dosing unit for dosing liquid and/or gaseous educts for a fuel cell system by means of a delivery pump. The dosing unit comprises at least one supply line (16) for supplying an educt stream, at least one control plunger (12) and a differential pressure valve (14) for regulating the educt stream, whereby the differential pressure valve (14) is provided with a throttle cross-section (39) which can be adjusted and which, in order to regulate the educt stream, can be automatically altered according to a flow pressure generated by the control plunger (12). The supply line (16) leads to the control plunger (12), and a first and a second connecting line (28, 29) are provided between the control plunger (12) and the differential pressure valve (14).
