PURPOSE: A tea composition for reducing cholesterol and thrombus is provided, which contains red malted rice that inhibits the biosynthesis of cholesterol, and nattokinase that has fibrinolytic activity to improve the blood circulation disorders. CONSTITUTION: The tea composition comprises followings: 66.2 to 84.5 wt% of germination unpolished rice, 1.0 to 10.0 wt% of germination barley, 0.1 to 0.7 wt% of germination indian millet, 0.1 to 0.7 wt% of germination Job's tears, 0.2 to 0.8 wt% of germination black bean, 0.3 to 0.8 wt% of germination black sesame, 2.5 to 5.0 wt% of germination corn, 1.0 to 4.0 wt% of germination glutinous millet, 0.05 to 0.35 wt% of oakmushroom, 0.2 to 0.8 wt% of rice bran, 0.3 to 0.8 wt% of kale, 0.1 to 0.6 wt% of kelp, 0.1 to 0.6 wt% of laver, 0.1 to 0.6 wt% of brown seaweed, 0.3 to 0.8 wt% of carrot, 0.05 to 0.35 wt% of mugwort, 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of pine needles and 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of radish, they are dried and powdered without cooking; and 0.5 to 3.0 wt% of red steamed rice, 0.05 to 2.0 wt% of nattokinase, 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of royal jelly, 0.3 to 0.6 wt% of lactic acid yeast, and 0.01 to 0.03 wt% of stevioside. The tea composition comprises further 1.0 to 10.0 wt% of germination red bean, 1.0 to 10.0 wt% of Angelicus uitilis, 0.3 to 0.9 wt% of buckwort, and 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of cabbage which are dried and powdered without cooking.
