PURPOSE: To provide an optical pickup device capable of being miniaturized and dealing with multiple wavelengths without using any synthetic prism. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a light emitting means in which plural light emitting parts exiting laser beams different in wavelength are integrated and which selectively exist laser beams different in wavelength, a photodetecting means receiving the laser beams, and an optical system which guides the laser beams exited from the light emitting means to a disk and also which guides the laser beams reflected by the disk to the photodetecting means. The light emitting means is arranged so that the straight line connecting respective light emitting points of plural light emitting parts in matched with the reproduced track tangential line of the disk.
