PURPOSE: An adaptor device for separating synchronous signals from SOG(sync-on-green) video signals and a color display system employing the same are provided to input SOG signals and separate synchronous signals from the SOG signals, whereby inputting the signals together with video signals to a display monitor. CONSTITUTION: The adaptor device comprises BNC connectors(31,32,33) mounted on one side of an adaptor housing(34), a synchronous signal separating circuit(37), and a de-sub connector(36) connected to the BNC connectors(31,32,33) through adaptor cables(35). The BNC connectors(31,32,33) input a green signal to which a red signal, a blue signal and a synchronous signal are mixed. The synchronous signal separating circuit(37) separates the synchronous signal mixed to the green signal. The red signal, the blue signal, the green signal, and the synchronous signal separated by the synchronous signal separating circuit(37) are output through the de-sub connector(36).
