PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficiently (in mechanical smoothness and at a quick working speed) work for butt end of wood in particular in joint and connection work of column material. SOLUTION: Cutting work is performed while a cutting means wherein a plurality of cutting tools in which cutting edges are fitted to both shafts of a motor are arranged in the same surface so that directions of the cutting edges become the same direction (Z plus and minus direction), is principally moved left and right, up and down and in front and in rear.
