PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platinum alloy for ornament which is excellent in color and hardness, has high purity and high quality, is excellent in machinability is hardly damaged in its product and is hardly cracked, deformed or the like, at a very low cost. SOLUTION: This platinum alloy for ornament consists of 90 wt.% platinum and 10 wt.% copper and is free from palladium.
