<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a pass from a position desired by a driver for the drivers of various vehicles to enter a toll road. SOLUTION: An automatic ticket issuing machine(ATIM) 35 of this toll collection system is provided with plural ticket issuing stages 23a-23c for issuing pass from a ticket issuing port 26 at a position corresponding to the height of a vehicle measured by a car type discriminating device 30 among plural ticket issuing ports installed corresponding to the heights of vehicles, the ticket issuing port 26 and a ticket issue button 24, which are installed corresponding to the respective ticket issuing stages 23a-23c, and a CPU 52 for judging whether a ticket is issued from the correspondent ticket issuing port 26 or not when any one of plural ticket issue buttons 24 is pressed, collecting the passes issued at present when the pressed ticket issue button 24 is different from the ticket issuing port 26, and issuing the pass from the ticket issuing port 26 corresponding to the ticket issue button 24.</p> |
