<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with an electric water heater with a water purifier that when a drain cock is closed, the water is drained from the drain cock, causing boiling without water. SOLUTION: The electric water heater with a water purifier is provided with the water purifier 1, a water supply valve 14 provided on the entrance of the water purifier, a hot water storage 2 with an electric heating means, a diverter valve 3 to switch the flow of the clean water from the water purifier over to a discharge side outside the appliance or over to the hot water storage for supplying hot water, an electrically operated pump 5 to discharge the hot water in the hot water storage to the outside the appliance, a drain cock 15 to drain the water inside the hot water storage, a drain condition detection means 16 to detect the opening and closing condition of the drain cock and a control means 6 to control the main body.</p> |
