PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the refrigerant circuit in a single and double effect absorption refrigerating machine. SOLUTION: A liquid refrigerant storing section 11 is provided in a condenser 2 so that refrigerant condensed by discharging heat to cooling water flowing through a cooling water pipe 12 is stored and a refrigerant pipe 13 extending from the gap phase section of a high temperature regenerator through the inside of a low temperature regenerator 1 is coupled to the bottom part of the liquid refrigerant storing section 11. The liquid refrigerant storing section 11 is arranged such that liquid refrigerant flows over a dam provided on the side wall 11A at one end when the quantity of liquid refrigerant increases. A refrigerant pipe 14 extending from the a low temperature condenser 6 is coupled to a part of the liquid refrigerant storing section 11 lower than the dam on the side wall 11A on the opposite side thereof and a U-seal part 14A lower than the opposite sides is provided at a middle part of the refrigerant pipe 14.
