<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station interface device in an IMT-2000 base station control system eliminating the unnecessary overlapping of a function due to distributed control by centralizing the control function. SOLUTION: Data inputted from a base station is transmitted to an RX multiplexer 509 through E1 interface parts 500 to 503 and ATM physical layer performing parts 504 to 507 to be classified into a cell corresponding to an internal signal and a cell other than the cell corresponding to the internal signal, and an AAL2 ATM cell is converted into an AAL2' ATM cell by an RX type converting part 508 to be transmitted to an ATM switch through a physical layer performing part 513 and an optical transmitting and receiving part 514. Conversely, data inputted from the ATM switch is transmitted to a TX multiplexer 510 through the parts 514 and 513 to be classified into a cell corresponding to an internal signal and a cell other than the cell corresponding to the internal signal, and an AAL2' ATM cell is converted into an AAL2 ATM cell by a TX converting part 511 to be transmitted to the base station through the ATM physical layer performing parts 504 to 507 and the interface parts 500 to 503.</p> |
