<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner which does not cause irregular printing, background fog or fluctuation in electrification during continuous printing. SOLUTION: The method relates to the manufacture of toner containing toner particles having 4 to 15μm volume average particle size and an external additive including polymer fine particles having 0.1 to 1μm particle size obtained from at least one kind selected from acrylic monomers, methacrylic monomers and styrene monomers. The toner particles and the polymer fine particles are separately prepared from monomers in water by a polymerization method, and then uniformly mixed in water in one vessel and dried to directly externally add the polymer fine particles to the toner particles.</p> |
