<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an occlusion adjusting gage plate which corrects the mistake in the conventional theory relating to the dental arch of a Caucasian system and enables a clinical dentist to easily and precisely utilize the plate in the manufacture of devices in the treatment of occlusion, the orthodontic treatment of the occlusion and the restoration treatment of the occlusion. SOLUTION: The occlusion adjusting gage plate consists of a transparent flat plate consisting of glass, synthetic resin, etc., and is provided with a median line (overall gravity line) 1 (A-D-O-R) at its center and lines 2 and 3 passing E and F indicating the positions of the cuspal tops on the cheek side of both first premolars in symmetrical positions parallel thereto. The plate is provided with lines indicating the contact points P and Q with the canines and the first premolars perpendicularly thereto, lines connecting the distal adjacent points M and N of both side first molar teeth and lines connecting the distal adjacent points G and H of both side second molar teeth.</p> |
