PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimal navigation service for each kind of moving means (vehicle, bicycle, wheel chair, pedestrian and the like). SOLUTION: This geographical information output system provides an optimal path according to the moving means by generating a moving means information 107b to show how a user in need of the path information moves by what sort of moving means, retrieving the user's departure position 107a, extracting a neighboring map from a map datum 604 which corresponds to each moving means to display the extracted neighboring map, specifying the target position 107c for the user, and then extracting a path from the departure position to the target position. |
