<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where the configuration of a modulator and an amplifier become large, in order to prepare for input having maximum amplitude. SOLUTION: This transmitter, which collectively modulates an added output obtained by adding a plurality of signals by a modulating means and outputs the added output, consists of a delay means, composed of one or a plurality of delay elements that delay and output the added output obtained by adding the plurality of signals, an amplitude-limiting means, to which a delay output outputted from an optional tap of one or the plurality of delay elements constituting the delaying means is inputted and which limits and outputs the amplitude of the delay output, a filtering means, to which an output of the amplitude limiting means is inputted and which outputs only a prescribed signal component to the modulating means, and a peak value predicting means, to which each tap output of one or the plurality of delay elements constituting the delaying means, is inputted and which predicts an output peak value of the filtering means on the basis of the plurality of tap outputs and controls the threshold of the amplitude limiting means, so that the signal level appearing in the output of the filtering means is a prescribed level.</p> |
