PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To outstandingly increase an article accommodation capacity and to make an access property from the outside to the inside of the article accommodation part without sacrificing a comfortability to ride, impairing a stiff leg property and a riding property of a rider and a fellow passenger and deteriorating a passing through property on a narrow road. SOLUTION: A side surface of a rear body 27 below a seating seat 28 in a scooter type vehicle is expanded to the outside in a car width direction and side accommodation chambers 35L, 35R are provided. Opening/closing portions 36L, 36R capable of access from the outside are provided on the side surface. The side accommodation chambers 35L, 35R are laid out such that at least one portion of the side accommodation chambers 35L, 35R is superposed on at least one of a swing case 11 of a power unit 8 and an exhaust muffler 19 in plan view. A car width dimension W1 at a portion of the side accommodation chambers 35L, 35R is set to a smaller size than a whole width W2 of a handle bar 5. |
