PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimal method for processing before crushing that can cut a body and simultaneously cut a wrap label to a proper separable condition to easily separate and remove from the body, can make the cut body easy to crush down in a crusher and the like to thus dispense with secondary crushing and others, improve the efficiency of crushing, reduce the number of processing steps and the cost of processing, and promote economy and recycling, can prevent the mouth portion from breaking up and fragments from flying about to thus ensure safe and neat cutting, and can stably cut a nonuniform and three-dimensional PET bottle continuously to a substantially desirable shape. SOLUTION: A PET bottle P is set between a pair of pressing plates 1 and 5 of a cutter via a proper holding means and is pressed except for a mouth portion 11. With the pressed condition kept, a cutting slider 6 arranged in the pressing plate 5 is slid to cut a body 10 of the PET bottle P properly and also a wrap label 12 to a proper separable condition. The separated wrap label 12 is removed by a proper removing means, a proper sorting means or the like.
