PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential therapeutic appliance with a function for discharging minus ions made smaller size to be portable, with which treatment effect can be obtained from both high potential and discharged minus ions, and also, a patient can understand its energizing state clearly. SOLUTION: This appliance includes a therapeutic appliance body in which an oscillation circuit 20, a high voltage transformer 22, and a timer 16 are accommodated in a box 26, and an electrode pad 30 to which high voltage is impressed. The electrode pad is constructed by accommodating a needle electrode 32 impressed with negative potential and a curving plate electrode 34 within a flat insulation case 38 with many holes. The high voltage transformer 22 is completely separated into its input side and output side, and the point earthing is performed by stretching an earth wire from the side of the plate electrode 34 to the side of a box without contacting, and being exposed on the outside of the bottom of the box through a point. The vibration of the electrode pad 30 is obtained by providing a vibration control circuit 62 and incorporating a vibration motor 68 having an eccentric load 66 on a rotting shaft 64 within the pad 30.
