SMALL-SCALE SHOGI (JAPANESE CHESS) USING PIECES EACH HAVING TWO TYPES OF PERFORMANCE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of taking a long time to finish a game of the conventional Shogi (Japanese chess) using 40 pieces and a 9×9-check board and to prevent the game content from getting simple caused by only reducing the number of the checks of the board and the number of pieces for finishing the game in a short time. SOLUTION: Both the faces of a piece have a piece character different between them so that a player can enjoy a compact and small-scale Shogi with rich contents.
