PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition capable of an easy cationic polymerization and suitable as a matrix resin for a fiber-reinforced composite material excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises 10-50 wt.% of an alicycilc epoxy resin bearing at least two cyclohexene oxide groups in one molecule and 90-50 wt.% of a multifunctional epoxy resin bearing at least three phenyl glycidyl ether groups in one molecule.
