PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a styrene resin extrusion molded foamed product that can compatibly attain both of high heat insulation and flame retardancy and can be readily produced, as a foaming agent of low environmental difficulty. SOLUTION: The objective styrene resin foamed product is produced by using one or more kinds of saturated hydrocarbons of 3-5 carbon atoms and water as foaming agents and includes a halogen flame retardant and boron oxide that is surface-treated with a surface treatment agent and heat-melting the resultant styrene composition, injecting a blowing agent into the molten resin composition and extrusion-molding the molten resin composition.
