<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for image recording by which an image of excellent picture quality can be stably recorded for a long period. SOLUTION: In the method for image recording, a toner image is carried on the surface of a toner image carrying body, a recording medium is superposed on the surface of the toner image carrier body where the toner image is carried, the toner image carried on the surface of the toner image carrying body is transferred and fixed by heating and pressurizing to the surface of the recording medium, the toner image transferred and fixed to the surface of the recording medium is cooled while the recording medium is superposed on the toner image carrying body, and then the recording medium is separated from the toner image carrying body to record the image on the surface of the recording medium. The toner which forms the toner image contains a release agent, and the melting point of the release agent is higher than 50 deg.C and lower than the softening point of the toner.</p> |
