PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dilute a sample automatically and highly accurately without using a dilution vessel. SOLUTION: While operating a dilution pump 29, such an operation that a selector valve 25 is connected to a sample passage side 17 as long as a fixed time and then the selector valve 25 is selected to connect to the diluent liquid passage 23 side as long as a fixed time within one suction stroke time of the dilution pump 29, is repeated, by a sample injection control part 39, to thereby introduce the sample and the diluent liquid at a prescribed ratio into a diluted sample passage 27. The sample and the diluent liquid introduced into the diluted sample passage 27 are introduced into a mixer 31 through the dilution pump 29 and mixed, and then introduced into a sample loop 35. |
