PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluid for traction drive capable of making a high coefficient of traction compatible with low-temperature fluidity, suitable for automobiles. SOLUTION: This fluid for traction drive comprising an alicyclic compound containing at least one cycloalkyl group in the molecule as a main component and containing 1-30 mass % based on the total amount of a composition of a component (A) which is a polyorganosiloxane containing substituent groups composed of a methyl group and an aryl group in the molar ratio of the methyl group to the aryl group of 0.2-30 is used to solve the problems. |
