<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method for a resin composition, in which the same consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a halogen base fire retardant is separated into the thermoplastic resin and a halogenated metallic compound and these are recovered. SOLUTION: A specific metallic compound, a processing agent having a capacity for hydrogenating halogen and a specific polymer are added to the resin composition consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a halogen base fire retardant. The mixture is allowed to react with each other in the conditions of <=450 deg.C. Thereby, halogen is made to a halogenated metallic compound. The thermoplastic resin and the halogenated metallic compound are separated from the resin composition and recovered.</p> |
