<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack determination method for an automated storage and retrieval warehouse capable of improving the storage and retrieval efficiency of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse. SOLUTION: All racks are divided into plural blocks 14 according to the amount of moving distance or moving required time of a stacker crane between a storage and retrieval port of the automated warehouse and each of the racks. The drawing probability of each rack is calculated 15 by using the storage and retrieval frequency and the average inventory of each kind of articles obtained from the past fixed period operation data 14 of the automated warehouse, and first the articles of the kind having high probability value are stored 10, 11, and 14 in racks of the block having a small moving distance or moving required time among plural divided blocks.</p> |
