<p>The invention concerns a method for making a novel type of reversible knit-miss jersey Jacquard fabric with weft-knitted stitches, produced on a multiple knit-miss circular loom, and whereof the two surfaces can constitute visible surfaces for said knitted fabric final use. The invention is characterised in that it consists in: using for its production a multiple knit-miss circular loom normally designed to produce plush loop knitted fabrics, wherein two yarns are delivered at each knit-miss, one called (5) base yarn being weft-knitted by the needles (2) and forming Jersey rows, the second yarn (6) called effect yarn being weft-knitted by the needles (2) and the hooks or sinkers (4), so as to form Jersey rows on the needles and to loop around the hooks or sinkers, said plush loops being released before the following knit-miss; the depositing of the second yarn (6) in the needles (2) being carried out with an offset relative to the first yarn (5) and the casting off being likewise offset relative to a standard plush loop knit so as to release the plush loop, the surplus yarn warp-drawn in the base knit, but visible at the surface of the latter.</p> |
