<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transfer efficiency of a container by eliminating procedures for carrying the container in and out with documents at a container terminal gate. SOLUTION: This device comprises a wireless IC card 2 pasted to a tractor head 5a for inputting and transmitting physical distribution information for the container 8, a gate-side terminal 3 provided at the container terminal gate 6 for intermediating the physical distribution information to be transmitted and received between the wireless IC card 2 and a computer 11a in a physical distribution information center 11, and a destination display device 7 for receiving storage information such as destination addresses of a trailer 5 from the computer 11a in the physical distribution information center 11 and transmitting the information to a driver in the trailer 5 with a voice or a character display. Receiving the physical distribution information from the wireless IC card 2, the computer 11a in the physical distribution information center 11 processes the information to transmit the storage information to the destination display device 7.</p> |
