PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor carpet for an automobile superior in soundproofness and productivity. SOLUTION: In this floor carpet 50 for the automobile by pressingly molding a mat-like raw material 30 including a mat-like fiber integrated body 10 integrated with fibers by opposed mold surfaces, the floor carpet has a shape corresponding to a using floor surface shape of the automobile, and has a part different in a compacted degree in the thickness direction by a part. Since the floor carpet has the shape corresponding to the floor surface shape of the automobile, the occurrence of clearance between the floor carpet 50 for the automobile and a floor of the automobile can be prevented. The floor carpet has the soundproofness according to the thickness since the floor carpet has the part different in the compacted degree in the tickness direction by the part. Since the floor carpet is manufactured by pressingly molding the mat-like raw material 30, a production process can be simplified, and the productivity can be improved.
