PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair allowing a user to easily release the engagement condition of an armrest frame and easily rotate the armrest frame upward. SOLUTION: The wheelchair comprises an armrest frame 10 at least on one side of a seat of the wheelchair with an armrest part rotatable upward from the horizontal state for use and a lock mechanism 30 for engaging the armrest frame 10 with a main body frame of the wheelchair. The lock mechanism 30 comprises a groove part 31, a bar member 32 inserted into the groove part 31 to be engaged, and a retractable energized member 33, energized usually in the direction of pushing up the armrest frame 10.
