PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package enclosing an ultrasonic measuring auxiliary sheet with excellent handling property in a manufacturing process without causing the deterioration of the sheet, and a water absorbing method for the sheet allowing easy preparation for the water absorption of the sheet so as to be fit for immediate use, and to provide the ultrasonic measuring auxiliary sheet permitting accurate measurement without causing any hindrance to diagnosis and measurement and easily usable without being sticky to the body surface. SOLUTION: A first purpose is attained by using the package enclosing the ultrasonic measuring auxiliary sheet and a water-filled package body in an impermeable packaging member, and a second purpose is attained by forming the ultrasonic measuring auxiliary sheet of a sheet composed mainly of an alkylene oxide polymer.
