CURRENT METER MOUNTING FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current meter mounting frame for easily mounting an ultrasonic Doppler current meter to a working ship and positively fixing and recovering the ultrasonic Doppler current meter. SOLUTION: This current meter mounting frame 1 for mounting the current meter 5 for observing tidal currents, to a side board of the ship 6, is formed of a fixed part 2 fixed to the upper part of a shell plate 61 of the ship 6, and a current meter holding shaft 3 provided at one end of the fixed part 2 almost vertically to the water surface so as to be able to hold the current meter 5 at the lower end. The current meter holding shaft 3 is connected to the fixed part 2 through a rotating part 4 so as to be vertically slidable and to be rotatable around the rotating part 4. The fixed part 2 is formed of a fixed member 21 with a joint part 22, and the length of the fixed part 2 is adjustable by connecting another fixed member 21 to the fixed member 21 through the joint part 22.
