PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus suitable for producing nonwoven fabrics each comprising fine filaments. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for producing nonwoven fabrics has such a construction that between a spinning nozzle 4 and the top surface of an air- permeable endless belt 3 traveling unidirectionally, there are set up an air blowing means 6 standing apart from the nozzle 4, a duct 7 directly connected to the means 6 and a hood 8 directly communicating with the duct 7 and covering the vicinity of the top surface of the belt 3, and the inside of the hood 8 is designed to be subjected to suction from below the underside of the belt 3 via the belt 3.
