<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which can perform an image processing on a desired object on a real time basis. SOLUTION: The image pickup device which picks up an image by an image pickup element 12 is provided with a means 19 for compressing and encoding the image which is picked up as a moving image, a means 12 for extracting information on at least one object included in the moving image from moving image information obtained in a process for compressing and encoding the image, a means 17 for performing the desired image processing on the object based on information on the extracted object, a means 20 for compressing and encoding the image including the object which is image-processed as a still image, and means 24 and 25 for recording at least the moving image outputted from the moving image compression encoding means or the still image outputted from the still image compression encoding means in a recording means.</p> |
