PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum chamber such as a vacuum envelope capable of reducing the number of components, simplifying production, preventing loss of vacuum, and restricting the scattering direction of getter flashes when a getter is supported inside the vacuum envelope. CONSTITUTION: This vacuum chamber has a getter 4 having a getter material 6 in order to keep the vacuum inside, and a getter support 7 composed of a control plate 9, a supporting leg 8, and a keeping plate 10 is installed in the scatter direction of the getter material 6 to restrict the scattering direction.
