PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the durability of a capacitance sensor by permitting easy and highly precise positioning of electrodes in manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: A protruded portion 30 functioning as a gap member is formed on the upper face of a holding member 3 formed of an insulator and grooves 31, 32 are formed on both sides thereof. By pressing and fitting the electrodes 1, 2 into the grooves 31, 32, the electrodes 1, 2 are positioned and held in close abutment to both side faces of the protruded portion 30. Terminal portions 11, 21 are integrally formed on the electrodes 1, 2. A wear resistant member 5 formed of an insulator is provided for covering the electrodes 1, 2 and the protruded portion 30 at its upper face. |
