<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize highly reliable monitoring for a control system. SOLUTION: When deceleration is performed by braking, throttle full closure, OD cut, and shift-down to the third speed whose deceleration level is smaller than that of the braking must have been already performed. Also, the deceleration control is performed in an inter-vehicle control mode in cruise control. At the time of receiving a brake operation request signal XLCBK from an inter-vehicle control ECU 2, an engine ECU 6 judges that any abnormality has been generated when any of the following condition (1)-(5) is fulfilled: (1) [XLCBK=1] and [shift position at 4th speed or 5th speed], (2) [XLCBK=1] and [3rd speed shift-down request XLC3RD=0], (3) [XLCBK=1] and [throttle full closure request XIDLLC=0], (4) [XLCBK=1] and [cruise control XCCACT =0], and (5) [XLCBK=1] and [inter-vehicle control mode XLAZER=0].</p> |
