PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of realizing multi-functions and a complicated process with a small amount of resources, by preventing disappearing or the like of image data occurring in an image memory and dynamically managing the resources temporarily used for a buffer area or the like. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a first memory means 12 for storing facsimile image data, a second memory means 14 having a commonly using buffer area with another image data and storing image data from an image reader or image data from an information processor, a memory managing means 20 for managing the second memory means and the buffer area, and an outputting order control means 40 for controlling outputting order so that second or third imaging job is preferred when the second or third imaging job is requested based on a managing control of the means 20 at least while requesting a first imaging job.
