PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing trouble by prolonging the lifetime of a scraping blade in association with the long lifetime of a roll in a printing step. SOLUTION: In a doctor blade having a plate made of zirconia ceramics having a cutting edge and adhered to a metal plate, a difference of thicknesses between the plate and the metal plate falls within 0.2 mm and a difference of Young's moduli therebetween falls within 20 GPa.
