PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly sort lightweight waste mixed with mixed waste. SOLUTION: A cyclone 1 for sorting mixed waste is supported on a main body 2 and consists of a guide chute 4 having a lightweight waste suction part 3, which sucks lightweight waste b1 to sort the same, provided to the upper part thereof, the charging chute 5 arranged to the upper part of the guide chute 4 to charge the mixed waste (a) and a screw conveyor 9 of which the screw 7 is provided in a housing 6 arranged in a state laterally extended so as to reach the outside from the under side of the guide chute 4 to move the waste falling from the guide chute 4 to the outside. An on-off lid is provided to the outside end of the housing 6 and a space 11 for temporarily housing waste b2 is provided between the on-off lid 10 and the leading end of the screw 7. A part of the lower part of the housing 6 is constituted of a mesh member 13 for passing small waste b3.
