PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightened pneumatic radial tire having a superior eccentric engagement with a rim. SOLUTION: Between both separation surfaces formed by a bead core 3a and 3b each divided into the upper side and the lower side along the tire radius direction, the end of a carcass layer 2 is inserted from the outer side of the tire width direction and is sandwiched and supported at the separation surfaces.
