PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle capable of lowering the center of gravity, concentrating the mass, and being easily ridden. SOLUTION: This power-assisted bicycle includes a power-assisting unit 1 for synthesizing the auxiliary motive power in response to the leg-power inputted to a crank shaft 201, with the leg-power and outputting the same, a front frame 2 connected to the power-assisting unit 1 at its rear lower part, a rear frame 3 connected to the power-assisting unit 1 at its front lower part, and at least one battery 8 loaded on the power-assisting unit 1.
