PURPOSE: A device for stabilizing the hysteresis torque characteristic of a clutch disk is provided to stably set up a high level hysteresis torque characteristic of a clutch disk during a travel and to reduce noise by decreasing the frequency of the gear noise of a transmission. CONSTITUTION: A hysteresis torque characteristic stabilizer(4) is installed contacting to a hub plate(8) at the outer side of torsion springs(6). An auxiliary friction washer(12) is interposed in disk plates(10). The auxiliary friction washer has a frictional face and a protruded portion fixed in a through hole of the disk plate. An insertion groove is formed on the disk plate to prevent displacement due to the contact of the auxiliary friction washer. The auxiliary friction washer induces a high frictional force with the hub plate. Therefore, the hysteresis torque by the distortion in a high rpm range is stabilized.
